Trauma-Informed Care in the Juvenile Justice System
BHARP is pleased to continue the work of creating a trauma-informed system of care and is holding this training again for additional counties.
In partnership with Kristine Buffington, National Trainer in Trauma-Focused CBT, we invite you to attend Trauma-Informed Care in the Juvenile Justice System. This training is to assist professionals (juvenile justice, law enforcement, first responders, child welfare, educators, and behavioral health providers) in understanding the impact of trauma on youth development and its connection to juvenile justice.
5 continuing education credits (CEUs) are available.
The Meadows Psychiatric Center is an approved sponsor provider of continuing education to the State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors. The Meadows Psychiatric Center is responsible for its CE trainings.
