State College, PA – The Behavioral Health Alliance of Rural Pennsylvania (BHARP) and Community Care Behavioral Health Organization (CCBH) are pleased to announce that CMSU-Outpatient Recovery Services has achieved trauma certification for mental health following their participation in the North Central Trauma Informed Care Initiative.
The providers involved in this program have achieved expertise in trauma informed care, which involves trauma-specific treatment for individuals. They have also created a trauma informed care culture within their organization and have successfully promoted safety for staff and individuals within the program.
The mission at CMSU-ORS is to participate actively in a community-wide partnership to support the residents of Columbia, Montour, Snyder and Union Counties in achieving independence and personal development in order to enhance their quality of life.
