The importance of community in the lives of persons with mental health and sustance abuse disorders is widely accepted though not widely practiced. This conference has as its stated purpose to create and to strengthen relationships with local communities. Local communities are very important to the rural areas of the Behavioral Health Alliance of Rural Pennsylvania (BHARP).
